Silvester / New Years Eve

Es ist soweit,
das Jahr 2012 neigt sich zu Ende und ich hoffe das es für alle hier ein wunderschönes Jahr mit tollen Erinnerungen war an welches ihr gerne zurückdenkt.
Ich wünsche euch allen für 2013 ein Jahr voller Liebe, Freude, tollen Projekten und Freunden mit denen ihr das alles teilen könnt.

Schal / Scarf

Hallo meine Lieben,
ich hoffe ihr hattet alle ein wunderschönes Weihnachtsfest, habt gut gegessen, getrunken und euch reich beschenken lassen. :-)
Hier wollte ich euch mal meinen Schal vorstellen, den ich im Moment stricke. Die Wolle ist von Regia. Eigentlich eine Sockenwolle, aber ich fand sie für Socken zu schade, da sie sehr weich ist. Ich hoffe er wird bis zu unserem Urlaub im April fertig.

Hello everybody,
I hope you all had a wonderful christmas with your family and loved ones. That you eat and drank well and that Santa was busy at your home.
Here, I want to show you the scarf I'm knitting at the moment. The yarn is a sock yarn from Regia, designed bei Kaffe Fassett. I found it was just too nice and too soft for socks so I decided to do the scarf. Hopefully I'll finish it till our vacaction in April so I can take it with me.

Mehr Wolle / More of my wool

Irgendwie bin ich im Moment im Wollrausch!!! :-) Und ich habe ein paar tolle Online Händler gefunden welche Sparpakete anbieten. Wer kann dazu schon nein sagen. Guckt mal bei Grosshandelwolle oder beim Wollstudio . Da gibt es wirklich prima Angebote!!!

Karten über Karten / Cards and cards and cards

Kennt ihr das, da macht man Karten über Karten aber es reicht immer noch nicht. Hatte am Wochenende nachgezählt und mit Schrecken festgestellt das ich immer noch nicht genügend für Weihnachten habe. Also fix noch eine gemacht. :-)

Do you know that? You make cards and cards and cards but it still isn't enough. I counted my finished cards this weekend and saw that I still need some more for christmas. So I finished this one over the weekend, too.

Kerzen / Candles

Hallo ihr Lieben!
So, das Wochenende ist vorbei und es geht jetzt doch rasend schnell auf Weihnachten zu! Daher mußte ich noch ganz schnell zwei Kerzen basteln. Ich hoffe sie gefallen euch.

Hi everybody!
So, christmas is only a week away from today and so I crafted some more candles over the weekend to give them as christmas presents. I hope you like them.

Eine weitere Karte / Another card

Und hier ist meine zweite Karte. Ich liebe ja die House Mouse Design Mäuse weil sie mich an Max und Moritz, unsere Rennmäuse, erinnern. Hier kuscheln die beiden ganz feste während draußen der Schnee fällt.

Here's the second card I made yesterday evening. I so love the House Mouse Design  mice as they always remind me of Max and Moritz, our little gerbils. Here the two of them cuddle up together in the snow.

Es weihnachtet wieder / Christmas time again

Gestern hab ich gemerkt das mir noch ein paar Weihnachtskarten fehlen. Also ran an den Basteltisch und hier seht ihr das erste Ergebnis. Ich hab die braune Pappe genommen da ich damit die Erde darstellen wollte in welcher der Kaninchenbau gegraben ist. Die Tannen oben sollen den Wald dastellen. Ich hoffe sie gefällt euch.

Yesterday I noticed that I still need some more christmas cards. What a nice excuse to start crafting again for a while. ;-) Here's the first result. I wanted to make it look like you peek into the rabbit burrow so I took the brown paper for the background to represent the earth, the borrow is digged in. The trees above shall illustrate the wood it borrow is in.

Oh Tannenbaum / Oh christmas tree

Nicht das ihr denkt ich wäre am Wochenende nur shoppen gewesen, nein ich habe auch ein bischen was getan. ;-) Hier sind zwei Geschenkanhänger die dieses Wochenende fertig geworden sind. :-)

And to show you that I didn't only shop this weekend but also crafted a bit I wanna show you my first two gift-tags I crochet. I hope you like those sweet christmas trees.

Meine Wolle / My wool

Und hier seht ihr noch ein paar meiner Errungenschaften der letzten Zeit. :-) Jetzt brauche ich nur noch Zeit diese zu verarbeiten. Aber ich denke nach Weihnachten wird es wieder ruhiger und ich werde mehr Zeit zum stricken haben! Im Moment liebe ich ja die neue Lacemode und freue mich schon darauf die Wolle dafür zu verwenden.

Here you see some more catches I got in the last months! :-) Now I only need some time to start knitting. But I think after christmas life will get less busy and I'll get some time for it. I love the new lace fashion at the moment and I'm looking forward doing some projects of it with these wools.

Wolle / wool

Da der Winter ja jetzt mit rasender Schnelligkeit auf uns zukommt, hat mich auch wieder das Strickfieber gepackt. Hier seht ihr, was ich am Samstag alles schönes gekauft habe. :-) Ich hoffe einiges wird noch bis Weihnachten fertig.

As winter is approaching really fast here, I'm in knitting fever. :-) Here you can see what I bought when I was in town this saturday. I so hope that some of the project will get finished in time for christmas.

Adventskranz / Advent wreath

Hallo ihr Lieben,
ich hoffe ihr hattet alle einen wunderschönen 1. Advent. Hier möchte ich euch meinen Adventskranz vorstellen mit den ersten selbstgemachten Kerzen. Da es mein erster Versuch mit den Kerzen war, war ich total überrascht wie toll sie aussehen. Nur die Finger habe ich mir ein wenig verbrannt, aber das hat sich gelohnt.

I hope you all had a nice 1. advent. Today I wanna show you my advent wreath with the first candles I made myself! As it was my first try with the candles, I was so very pleased to see how beautifully they looked. I burned my fingers a bit by doing them, but that was well worth it.

Gestern hatte unser Postmann wieder gaaanz viel für mich zu tragen!!! Nämlich meine Weihnachtsgeschenke an mich selber!!! Ich konnte den tollen Stempeln von Whimsey und Whiff of Joy nicht widerstehen und mußte sie einfach haben!!! Außerdem möchte ich unbedingt mal die Textilmarker ausprobieren.
Ich hoffe ihr werdet bald ein Ergebnis davon sehen.

Yesterday, the postman brought lots of goodies for me. I made myself some christmas gifts because I couldn't resist the cute stamps from Whimey and Whiff of Joy. And I always wanted to try the textile markers. I hope you'll see some results from them, soon.

Endlich 18! / 18 at last!

Guten Morgen und einen tollen Start in die Woche wünsche ich euch allen! Hier ist die Karte die ich für mein Patenkind zum 18. Geburtstag gestaltet habe! :-) Da sie ja ihr Aquarium liebt,  mußte auch eine passende Karte dazu her. In der Karte selber war dann eine Tasche mit einem Amazon Gutschein. Daafür passte der kleine Drachen ganz super fand ich. Mein Patenkind war auf jeden Fall begeistert von der Karte und dem Geschenk.

Good morning and a great start into the new week to everybody. Here's the card I did for my godchild's 18th birthday. She totally loves her aquarium and so I thought this card would suit her. Inside a card I designed a pocket for a amazon gift certificate. I thought the little dragon was the right motive for the pocket to hold the gift. My godchild was very very pleased with the card and the gift.

Quack

Anscheinend hat mich dann seit neuestem das Perlentierfieber gepackt. :-) Hier ist der kleine Quack der gestern abend entstanden ist. Mein Mann liebt Frösche und als ich die Vorlage gesehen habe wußte ich genau das ich den für ihn machen muß. Er war hin und weg und ich hoffe ihr mögt klein Quack auch.

It looks like I got infected with the beading-animal-fever! :-) This is little Quack which came to life yesterday evening. My husband loves frogs and when I saw the pattern for this little fellow I knew I'd to give it a try. He immediatly fell in love with Quack and I hope you all love him, too.

Weihnachten naht / Christmas is coming

Hallo ihr Lieben,
ich melde mich auch mal aus der Versenkung!! :-) Der November ist ein wenig stressig bei uns aber gestern kam ich endlich dazu eine neue Weihnachtskarte zu basteln. Ich liebe einfach dieses House-Mouse-Design Motiv. Im Hintergrund habe ich auch noch ein paar glitzernde Schneeflocken gemalt, aber leider sieht man sie auf den Fotos nicht so gut. Ich hoffe die Karte gefällt euch.

here I'm again. This November is a bit stressful here but yesterday I was able to start creating another christmas card. I so love this cute House-Mouse-Design motiv. In the background of the mouse and bird I also painted some glittery snowflakes but you can't see them good enough on the picture.

Weihnachtskarte / Christmas card

Da ich gestern nach dem Arztbesuch dann ja viel Zeit hatte, ist endlich meine erste gestickte Weihnachtskarte für dieses Jahr fertig geworden. Sie ist für mein Patenkind und ich weiß sie wird sich super darüber freuen. :-) Ist das Mäuschen nicht zu niedlich wie es sich fein gemacht hat???

As I'd a lot of time after my visit to the doc yesterday, my first cross-stitched christmas card for this year got finished. :-) It's for my godchild and I know she'll love it. Isn't that little mouse sweet as it's all dressed up for christmas???

Eek des Tages / Eek of the day

Hier seht ihr was passiert wenn man nicht auf sich aufpasst und einfach nur schnell nach Hause will um zu basteln. Man guckt nich wo man hintritt, knickt um und darf 6 Wochen eine stylische Schiene wegen einer Bänderdehnung tragen. :-( So ein Mist aber auch. Na ja, das nächste Mal passe ich auf jeden Fall mehr auf und gehe lieber etwas langsamer heim. Man lernt ja aus seinen Fehlern! ;-)

Here you see what happens when you don't watch where you go and only want to go home fast to craft. You step into a hole with your food and sprain your ankle and have to wear a stylish brace for your ankle for the next 6 weeks! Grrh, I'm so mad with myself at the moment that I didn't watch where I go. But believe me I'll do that from now on. You only learn from your mistakes. ;-)

Guckt mal was am Freitag bei mir in der Post war!!!! ein gaaanz tolles Päckchen von Joanna Sheen. Ich liebe einfach ihren Online Shop und ihren Blog hier.
Da ich ein absoluter Tierfan bin konnte ich den kleinen Meerschweinchen natürlich nicht widerstehen. Genausowenig wie den tollen Stempeln meines Lieblingsmalers Thomas Kinkade.
Die Distress Marker habe ich schon lange in's Auge gefasst und jetzt habe ich mir endlich einen Ruck gegeben und mir ein verfrühtes Geburtstagsgeschenk gemacht. :-)

As I'm an absolute animal lover I, of course, couldn't resist the little guinea pigs preparing everything for christmas.
When I saw the new range of stamps from my favourite painter Thomas Kinkade I was over the moon and had to get at least one set of them.
The Distress Markers were already on my wishlist for quite a while and now I just thought I should make myself an early birthday gift and orderd them.
