Secret Stempel Kit Henry

Guten Morgen meine Lieben!
Letzte Woche kam endlich mein lang ersehntes Secret Stempelkit Sommer von #Wiff of Joy zu Hause an! Oooh, so viele schöne neue Henry Stempel. Diesem kleinen Pärchen konnte ich so gar nicht widerstehen und mußte sofort loslegen!!! :-) Meinem Mann gefiehl es so gut daß es jetzt einen Platz auf seinem Aida-Fotohalter gefunden hat und über seinem Schreibtisch wacht.

Last week my Secret stamp kit summer from #Wiff of Joy arrived at my door. I was sooo happy about it. So many new and cute Henry stamps. This sweet couple took my attention right away and I had to start coloring it immediately. My hubby also fell in love with it, so now it has pride of place over his office desk. :-)

Köln / Cologne

Es ist mal wieder Zeit für eine Geburtstagskarte! Wir sind im Juli zu einem Geburtstag eingeladen der auf einem Schiff auf dem Rhein gefeiert wird. Da wir in Köln starten, dachte ich, daß dieses Motiv ideal für eine Geburtstagskarte ist. Das Geburtstagskind ist männlich, daher ist sie ansonsten sehr schlicht gehalten. ;-)

It's time for a Birthday card again! We're invited to a birthday which will be celebrated on a partyship on the river Rhine. We'll start in Cologne so I thought the Cologne Cathedral would make a nice motif on the card. As it's for a birthday boy, I tried to make it look simple. :-)

Schal / shawl

Guten Morgen meine Lieben,
heute möchte ich euch den Schal zeigen den ich für meine Mama zum Muttertag gestrickt habe. :-) Sie war hin und weg und mir gefiel er so gut daß ich sofort noch einen für mich angefangen habe. :-)

today I want to show you the shawl I made for my mom for Mothers Day. She was over the moon when I gave it to her and I've to say I so fell in love with that yarn that I already started to do one for myself. :-)

Lächel / Smile

Da bei uns die letzten Wochen nicht so schön waren, habe ich gedacht das ein Smiley an meinem Schlüsselband Wunder tun könnte! :-) Ist er nicht niedlich geworden???

As the last weeks weren't very happy for us I decided to make this little Smiley for me to remember me that everything is easier with a smile on your face. Isn't it cute?

Geburtstag im Mai

Was gibt es Schöneres als einen Geburtstag im Wonnemonat Mai!!! Und da das Wetter zur Zeit ja auch mitspielt konnte ich dieser kleinen süßen Maus im Limonadenglas nicht widerstehen. Die Karte war auch bei dem Geburtstagskind ein super Hit!!!

What's better then a birthday in May??? And as the weather is totally fine here at the moment I couldn't resist using this sweet House-Mouse-Design stamp with the little mouse in the lemonade glass. The card was a big hit with the birthday girl. :-)

RIP Max

Hallo ihr Lieben,
als wir gestern, nach unserem Urlaub, unsere beiden Mäuschen aus der Urlaubsvertretung abholen wollten, haben wir leider nur noch den kleinen Moritz zurückbekommen. :-( Max, der vorher schon an einer Herzinsuffizienz litt, hat es leider nicht geschafft uns zu begrüßen. Er ist am letzten Mittwoch ganz plötzlich über die Regenbogenbrücke gegangen. :'-(
Leb wohl mein lieber kleiner Kämpfer mit dem zu großen Herzen. Du wirst immer in meinem Herzen sein. Jetzt hast du keine Schmerzen mehr und ich hoffe und bete das du jetzt im Sonnenschein über eine Wiese rennst und tausende Sonnenblumenkerne futterst.

Hi everybody,
when we wanted to get our gerbils back after our vacation yesterday, we got the bad news that Max went over the rainbow bridge last Wednesday. It was quick and he didn't have to suffer, but it's still a big shock for us. He already had heart problems but I was so sure that we'd see him again after our vacation and then this.
RIP my sweet little Max with the too big heart. You are my hero. You'll always be in my heart and I hope and pray that you'll now be able to run down a sunny lawn and eat thousands of sunflower seeds.

Ostergrippe und Urlaub / Easter flu and vacation

Guten Morgen meine Lieben,

ich hoffe ihr hattet alle ein wunderschönes Osterfest. Ich lag leider sowas von mit Grippe und Fieber flach, das es hier so ziemlich in den Schnee fiel. Na ja, da kann man nichts dran ändern. Mein Mann mußte auch arbeiten, also war es eh ein eher normales Wochenende für uns. Dafür geht's bei uns am Samstag für 2 Wochen mit der Aida zu den Kanaren!!!!!! 

Da wir für die Zeit natürlich jemanden brauchen um unsere zwei Rennmäuse zu versorgen, haben wir bei unserer Tierärztin nachgefragt und sie kümmert sich um unsere Kleinen. Als Dankeschön habe ich schon mal die Karte hier gestickt und mit einem Perlen-Marienkäfer als kleinen extra Anhänger versehen. Ich hoffe sie wird ihr gefallen. Diese Woche wird jetzt mit Kofferpacken und Vorbereitungen noch sehr stressig werden, aber danach können wir uns 2 Wochen entspannen.

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter. Sadly I was in bed fighting a really heavy flu with fever and everything that comes with it, so this year we didn't celebrate it so much. My husband also had to work so it was more a normal weekend here this year. But things like this happen and next year there'll be a hopefully nicer Easter. On the other side, we're packing for our two weeks vacation cruise to the canary islands, which will start this Saturday. I'm sooo looking forward to it. 2 weeks just relaxing and doing nothing. :-) 

Because of the cruise, we needed of course someone to look after our sweet gerbils. We asked our vet and she agreed to look after our cuties. As a Thank you, I created this sweet mouse card and placed a little pearl-bug charm as a special to it. I hope she'll like it. This week will be very stressful as I wasn't able starting packing before because of the flu. But when the plane will start on Saturday every stress will fall apart and I'll be in heaven for two weeks.
