RIP Max

Hallo ihr Lieben,
als wir gestern, nach unserem Urlaub, unsere beiden Mäuschen aus der Urlaubsvertretung abholen wollten, haben wir leider nur noch den kleinen Moritz zurückbekommen. :-( Max, der vorher schon an einer Herzinsuffizienz litt, hat es leider nicht geschafft uns zu begrüßen. Er ist am letzten Mittwoch ganz plötzlich über die Regenbogenbrücke gegangen. :'-(
Leb wohl mein lieber kleiner Kämpfer mit dem zu großen Herzen. Du wirst immer in meinem Herzen sein. Jetzt hast du keine Schmerzen mehr und ich hoffe und bete das du jetzt im Sonnenschein über eine Wiese rennst und tausende Sonnenblumenkerne futterst.

Hi everybody,
when we wanted to get our gerbils back after our vacation yesterday, we got the bad news that Max went over the rainbow bridge last Wednesday. It was quick and he didn't have to suffer, but it's still a big shock for us. He already had heart problems but I was so sure that we'd see him again after our vacation and then this.
RIP my sweet little Max with the too big heart. You are my hero. You'll always be in my heart and I hope and pray that you'll now be able to run down a sunny lawn and eat thousands of sunflower seeds.

Ostergrippe und Urlaub / Easter flu and vacation

Guten Morgen meine Lieben,

ich hoffe ihr hattet alle ein wunderschönes Osterfest. Ich lag leider sowas von mit Grippe und Fieber flach, das es hier so ziemlich in den Schnee fiel. Na ja, da kann man nichts dran ändern. Mein Mann mußte auch arbeiten, also war es eh ein eher normales Wochenende für uns. Dafür geht's bei uns am Samstag für 2 Wochen mit der Aida zu den Kanaren!!!!!! 

Da wir für die Zeit natürlich jemanden brauchen um unsere zwei Rennmäuse zu versorgen, haben wir bei unserer Tierärztin nachgefragt und sie kümmert sich um unsere Kleinen. Als Dankeschön habe ich schon mal die Karte hier gestickt und mit einem Perlen-Marienkäfer als kleinen extra Anhänger versehen. Ich hoffe sie wird ihr gefallen. Diese Woche wird jetzt mit Kofferpacken und Vorbereitungen noch sehr stressig werden, aber danach können wir uns 2 Wochen entspannen.

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter. Sadly I was in bed fighting a really heavy flu with fever and everything that comes with it, so this year we didn't celebrate it so much. My husband also had to work so it was more a normal weekend here this year. But things like this happen and next year there'll be a hopefully nicer Easter. On the other side, we're packing for our two weeks vacation cruise to the canary islands, which will start this Saturday. I'm sooo looking forward to it. 2 weeks just relaxing and doing nothing. :-) 

Because of the cruise, we needed of course someone to look after our sweet gerbils. We asked our vet and she agreed to look after our cuties. As a Thank you, I created this sweet mouse card and placed a little pearl-bug charm as a special to it. I hope she'll like it. This week will be very stressful as I wasn't able starting packing before because of the flu. But when the plane will start on Saturday every stress will fall apart and I'll be in heaven for two weeks. 

Ostern naht / Easter is approaching

Guten Morgen ihr Lieben,
Ostern liegt ja jetzt ganz um die Ecke, und da ich als Zugabe bei einer englischen Bastelzeitschrift diese tollen "Somebunny to love" Stempel bekommen habe, mußte ich sie doch gleich für Osterkarten verwenden. :-) Sind sie nicht zu niedlich. Das untere Häschen erinnert mich an unsere Schlappohrhäsin Bummy, daher hat sie auch ihr schwarzes Pfötchen von mir gemalt bekommen. :-) Ich vermisse sie immer noch sehr und jedes Mal wenn ich die Karte ansehe denke ich an sie.

Easter is getting nearer and nearer now and as I got these two cute "Somebunny to love" stamps with an english crafting magazine, I had a great excuse to try them out and make my first Easter cards. Aren't they just too cute? The female bunny reminds me of our lop-eared bunny Bummy who I still miss like hell. Because of that I painted one of her paws black as Bummy had a black front paw, too. Every time I look at the card now I think of her.

Tuch / Shawl

Hallo ihr Lieben!
Heute ist endlich mein gestricktes Halstuch fertig geworden. :-) Gerade rechtzeitig zu unserem Urlaub in 3 Wochen. Ich habe es aus einer Baumwoll-Sockenwolle gestrickt und bin ganz begeistert. Es ist super weich.

Hi everybody!
Today I finished my selfknitted shawl, right in time for our vacation in three weeks. I made it out of cotton sock yarn and I'm really pleased how it turned out. It's so soft and cuddly.

Kissen / Cushion

Einen wunderschönen Montag wünsche ich allen!!!
Da mein Mann so lieb meinen Bastel- und Handarbeitswahn erträgt hat er von mir diesmal auch ein Geschenk bekommen. :-) Ein Couchkissen für ein schönes Vorabendschläfchen. :-) Er liebt es und freut sich schon darauf es heute abend einzuweihen. :-)

As my husband always tolerate my crafting and encourage me to create things, I thought he also should get a nice gift. And here it is. A cushion for some resting on the couch in the evenings. He loves it and can't wait to use it the first time this evening. :-)

2tes iPhone-cover / 2nd iPhone-cover

Einen schönen und hoffentlich schneefreien Sonntag an alle!
Gestern ist mein 2tes Iphone cover fertig geworden!!! Ich finde die Idee einfach super und bei diesem kann ich mich sogar noch gar nicht entscheiden ob ich es verschenken oder doch vielleicht für mich behalten soll. :-) Es steht meinem Iphone nämlich auch richtig gut!!! :-)))

Yesterday I finished the second iPhone cover! I really love this Idea and this time, I've to admit, I'm not sure if I should give it away or keep it for myself as I love this design and it suits my iPhone well, I think. :-)))
