Quiltdecke / Quilt

Willkommen Oktober!
Endlich ist es Oktober! Mein Geburtstagsmonat!!! :-) Und natürlich Halloweenmonat!!!! :-)
Der Sommer scheint jetzt endgültig vorbei zu sein. Aber dieses Jahr können wir auch so gar nicht über den Sommer klagen, im Gegenteil. Ich fand ihn zu krass.
Da die Abende jetzt wieder schön kühl sind, kann ich endlich an meinem Stamped Cross Stitch Quilt von Dimensions weitersticken!!! Wenn man ihn auf den Knien hat, ist er seeehr warm, deswegen geht's im Sommer gar nicht. :-)
Stamped Cross Stich ist schwieriger als ich gedacht habe. Der Quilt war ja schon fertig genäht in der Packung und die Vorlage war draufgestempelt. Es ist schon etwas ganz anderes auf einem glatten Baumwollstoff zu arbeiten. Ich arbeite jetzt schon 2 Jahre daran und hoffe, daß er diesen Winter endlich fertig wird.

I'm so happy, it's October at least. It's my birthday month and also Halloween month!!! How can it get any better??
Summer left us for good now, I think. But we can't complain about the summer this year. It was a bit too much for me, and I'm happy, that the evenings are cooler now, so I can work on my Stamped Cross Stitch Quilt from Dimensions. I can't work on it in summer as it is too warm when I have him on my knees.
Stamped cross stitch is much more difficult then I thought it would be. The quilt is already sewn and the pattern is stamped on it. But it's so difficult to stitch on an even cotton fabric. I already work on it for 2 years now and I hope I'll finish it this winter.

Geburtstagskarte / Birthday Card

Guten Morgen,
hier seht ihr die Geburtstagskarte für mein Patenkind. Da in der Karte ein Douglas-Gutschein versteckt ist, fand ich das Bild ziemlich passend. :-) Die Vorlagen kommen aus dem Heft Mijn Hobbykaart. Die Knöpfe, die Bänder und das kleine Herz hatte ich noch.

here is my birthday card for my godchild. I loved the picture on it, because she'll get a voucher from a perfumary. The pattern is from a journal called Mijn Hobbykaart. I only added the buttons, ribbons and the little heart from my stash.

Spülis / Dishcloths

Ihr Lieben,
kennt ihr schon den Hype um's Spüli-stricken??? Mich hat es jetzt auch erwischt. Und da mein Patenkind in ihre erste eigene Wohnung gezogen ist, kann ich auch so richtig darin aufgehen. Diese beiden Spülis habe ich aus einem Knäuel Schachenmayr Cotton Clean gestrickt. Die Muster dazu habe ich bei ravelry gefunden. Ich hoffe jetzt nur, daß ich auch ihren Geschmack getroffen habe.

du you know that knitting dishcloths is trendy now? I also caught the bug now, and as my goddaughter moved into her first flat, I can knit a lot now. :-) I made these from one ball of Schachenmayr Cotton Clean. The patterns are from ravelry. Now I only hope she'll like them.

#30daysofflowers challenge

Ich weiß nicht ob ihr auch die #30daysofflowers challenge von Johanna Basford kennt. Ich finde es toll, daß so viele Leute aus aller Welt dasselbe Motiv ausmalen. Man bekommt so viele Ideen. Dies ist mein Beitrag dazu. Ich weiß, es ist nicht perfekt, aber ich finde es trotzdem schön. :-)

Vielleicht hat ja noch jemand Lust mitzumachen. Viele Fotos kann man darüber auch auf Instagram sehen.

Nadel und Faden Osnabrück

Guten Morgen meine Lieben,
gestern war ich bei der Nadel und Faden in Osnabrück. Oh, das war mal wieder ein toller Tag. Wie ihr sehen könnt, habe ich auch eine tolle Ausbeute. Ich bin ja schon soo gespannt auf das Katia Garn mit den Perlen. Das wird bestimmt ein wunderschönes Tuch. Und da ich ja ein großer Halloween Fan bin, konnte ich an den tollen Stoffen auch nicht vorbei gehen. :-)

Good morning everybody,
yesterday I was at a stitching and needlecraft show in Osnabrück. That was such a beautiful day for me, and as you can see on the photo I bought some nice things there. I'm so looking forward to knit a beautiful shawl from the new katia sunset yarn with the little glass beads in it. And as I'm a big Halloween fan, I couldn't resist all the Halloween fabric.

Handytasche / Phone Bag

Guten Morgen!
Ich weiß, ich habe gaaanz lange nichts mehr geschrieben und gezeigt hier. Leider war ich privat in den letzten Jahren sehr eingebunden, daß ich andere Sachen vernachlässigen mußte. Aber das ist jetzt vorbei. Hier könnt ihr meine neue Handytasche sehen. Die Packung von Stitch and Zip habe ich vor Jahren mal auf der Knitting and Stitching Show in London gekauft, und endlich habe ich es geschafft, sie zu sticken. :-)
Ich wünsche allen einen schönen Freitag und einen tollen Start in's Wochenende.

I know, it's a looong time since I last posted something here. I was very busy family related, so I wasn't able to be on here. But that's history now and I hope I can post more again from today.
You can see my finished Stitch and Zip phone bag here. I bought it years ago at the London Knitting and Stitching Shop and I'm so pleased with the result.
